Gil Mualem-Doron

Gil Mualem-Doron (Ph.D) is a socially and politically engaged artist. He works in the media of photography, installations, performance and digital art. Much of his work is participatory, working with marginalised communities in UK and abroad.

The project comprise of leading an two studios of undergraduate students of architecture in two universities who submitted proposals to the city council and who built installation aiming to democratize the square and make it accessible to marginalized communities. It also included over night installation in the square; a participation in group exhibition at the Architectural Association gallery, and an exhibition and a catalogue of the project at EAST22 – Centre for Urban Culture, Amsterdam.
